The ship sails overnight and you will awake in Cherbourg, France. You have got a full day here, so head off on an optional shore excursion or tour the city of Cherbourg-Octeville yourself. The follow day is a day at sea as the ship navigates from France to Ireland. Sea days are meant for lazing around. Have a lie-in and enjoy a relaxed brunch. Rather than racing back to Southampton, another sea day follows, meaning a final lazy day before arriving back in the UK on Saturday morning.
