If you are looking for a child-free city break in the run-up to Christmas, this is a great choice.
The mid-sized Arcadia offers plenty of things to see and do but in a manageable size. This is not a monstrously large ship, and with a capacity of just 2,094 passengers, you will feel more of a community atmosphere onboard than on the mammoth alternatives. Oh, and did I mention there will be no kids running about on board?
Bruges in December is simply magical. The nippy weather closes in and the bustling Christmas markets in Grote Markt are a must-see attraction. You could lose a day, wrapping yourself in the festive feeling meandering from stall to stall. The ice rink is also a popular attraction.
